Simple Blue Cheese Sauce
  • 2 T all-purpose flour
  • 2 T unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 oz Point Reyes original blue cheese
  1. Melt butter in a small sauce pan.
  2. Whisk flour into the butter and cook for 2-3 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.
  3. Add heavy cream gradually while continually whisking. Continue to whisk until all the cream is incorporated.
  4. Finally, stir in your crumbled blue cheese.
For a lighter version, you can substitute milk for heavy cream.
