Fall-Off-The-Bone Barbecue Ribs

Author:
Ingredients
  • 1 rack of baby back ribs
  • BBQ Seasoning/rub
  • 1 jar BBQ Sauce (our favorite)
  • Canola oil
Instructions
  1. Coat ribs with a thin layer of canola oil to help the seasoning stick to the ribs. Sprinkle the ribs with rub to coat evenly, and wrap tightly with extra wide plastic wrap. Let the ribs sit in the refrigerator overnight.
  2. Heat a grill to medium heat and put the ribs on the grill over direct heat. Cook 5-7 minutes on both sides, ensuring that they do not get too blackened.
  3. Move the ribs to indirect heat and continue to cook for 25-30 minutes, until the meat just begins to pull away from the bones.
  4. Take the ribs off the grill and place in a dutch oven or sheet pan covered tightly with foil. Bake in a 275 degree oven for 3 hours.
  5. After 3 hours, remove the ribs from the pan and cut into individual sections. Toss to coat with barbecue sauce and keep warm until ready to serve.
