This lovely restaurant hangs on the side of Lake Como. Restaurant Momi serves simple Italian food using local and quality ingredients. Owner and chef Andrea Dotti is known as Chef Momi. The kitchen is just steps from the tables, so he’s both in the kitchen and out serving guests at tables with a smile.
The food here is solid, and its combination with a fabulous location directly on Lake Como and Chef Momi’s energetic spirit makes for a delightful lunch or dinner. If you’re staying on the other side of the lake, you can take a boat and dock just a few steps from the restaurant.
Guests can choose between a set traditional menu or a la carte dishes. We started with fried fish from the lake followed by pasta with octopus, and finished with a trio of desserts including a delicious apple cake and basil gelato.
