I’m Sarah. I live in London with my husband and our young son, after years in San Francisco and Geneva. Paris, the South of France, and London are the places I keep going back to. French and Italian food is what I cook between trips.
I started The Taste Edit more than a decade ago to keep track of where we were eating and travelling. What we ordered, where we sat, which hotel room to ask for, which dish to skip. Over the years those notes turned into something bigger. Our writing and photography have appeared in Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveller UK, People, Esquire, AFAR, Departures, and Vogue.
The Taste Edit today is everything we’ve collected: the restaurants we keep going back to, the hotels we’d book again, the recipes we cook after another trip. It is not exhaustive and it is not algorithmic. It is one perspective from someone who has lived in three countries in the last six years and has strong opinions about all of them.
This is not a travel blog. It is a point of view.

Everyone else gets the weekly letter. Both are written the same way: in my voice, with my photographs, about places I’ve actually been.
