For us, the pici cacio e pepe stole the show. Perfectly al dente, the thick, hand-rolled pasta was coated in a creamy, peppery sauce that hit all the right notes — both comforting and refined.

For something heartier, the côtelettes d’agneau (lamb chops) were a standout. Tender and flavorful, the lamb was cooked just right and paired with sides that complemented it beautifully.

While we didn’t try the pizzas this time, they looked incredible coming out of the wood-fired oven.

Dessert filled with pistachio at Daroco Italian restaurant in Paris

If there’s one dessert you need to try, it’s the pistachio-filled pastry that rounded out our meal. This warm, golden treat was reminiscent of a bomboloni, filled with silky pistachio cream inside. Each bite was just sweet enough, without being too heavy—a perfect finale to an excellent meal.
