Are you looking for a unique and new dining experience in Paris? Look no further than Hando Parisian Handrolls. Located steps away from the Balenciaga headquarters and the iconic shopping destination Le Bon Marché, this minimalist restaurant serves up some of the freshest Japanese cuisine in town. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch between meetings or to get a bite with friends, Hando is sure to serve up something special.
Hando offers an array of enticing beverages including sake, tea, and French wine to start off your meal. On the menu, you can find a small variety of fresh sashimi options like salmon, tuna, yellowtail and more. The handrolls are especially unique – they’re cylinder shaped vs the traditional temaki cone shape. We recommend ordering the spinach or wakame salad, one or two sashimi selections and one or two hand rolls. Be sure to eat the handrolls as soon as they come out so the nori doesn’t lose its crunch.
As if the food wasn’t enough to draw you in, the design inside Hando is sure to please. The restaurant was recently featured in French Architectural Digest for its minimalist design which includes a large wooden counter in front of an elegant display of Japanese whisky. This is counter seating only (no reservations accepted).
Since it’s located directly across from Balenciaga headquarters and steps away from Le Bon Marché, Hando makes an ideal location for business lunches or brunches with friends when you want something quick yet high quality. Without having to reserve ahead of time, you can easily drop in whenever you have time available without having to plan too far ahead in advance.
All in all, if you’re looking for a taste of Japan right here in Paris then look no further than Hando.
