When it comes to charming natural wine bars in the Marais district, few can match the unique atmosphere and fantastic selection of craft cocktails, oysters, small plates, and natural wines at this bar and restaurant. Located in a cozy corner of this iconic Parisian neighborhood, it is the perfect destination for an evening out with friends or a romantic date night.
The restaurant has huge windows that let in natural light during the day and give way to a central bar surrounded by a few tables. No reservations are accepted, so all you need to do is show up ready for drinks and dinner!

The natural wine selection at Le Mary Celeste is quite impressive and offers something for everyone’s tastes – from sweet whites to full-bodied reds, there are plenty of options to choose from, mostly from France but also from Italy. The cocktails, while not our to our preference, should also be noted if you’re a cocktail connoisseur, as they are crafted with care using quality ingredients. Additionally, the oysters and small plates offered here are well worth exploring. We tried deviled eggs, scallop ceviche, green beans with ricotta, and delicata squash with burrata on our visit – all of which were excellent.

We suggest stopping by Le Mary Celeste restaurant and natural wine bar on any given Friday night as they offer an enticing “Fried Chicken Night” special that can’t be missed. We also strongly recommend their sister restaurant Taqueria Candelaria a few streets away, which we found to be one of the best Mexican restaurants we have encountered in Paris! All in all, this small restaurant and natural wine bar offers up a delightful experience with top-notch drinks and food – no matter if you’re looking for a casual evening out or something more intimate, you can choose your own adventure at Le Mary Celeste.
