There are tons of bistros in Paris. So when it comes to deciding on which one to go to, it can be difficult. This bistro has a short menu of authentic French dishes coming out of a very small kitchen. The owner is Chef Jean-Francois Piege, so you know the food is going to be good.
The atmosphere is charming and cozy and servers are very pleasant. They easily speak French and English, but we appreciate that this bistro isn't on all of the lists for Americans. So while you will hear and see tourists, it's not one of the restaurants that seems to be designed especially for Americans like Bistro Paul Bert or Clamato.
