In the kitchen, as in life, the best surprises often come unannounced. Take, for instance, our BLT Tart, an ingenious twist sparked by necessity and creativity. An overly moldy goat cheese led our intended traditional tomato tart off the beaten path, taking us on an unexpected but delightful detour. Thanks to some handy odds and ends in our fridge, we ended up crafting a BLT sans bread (and lettuce), and the result? Delicious.
