If you’re in Paris and want a break from the usual French cuisine, Lordy’s Paris Club offers elevated British pub-style food in the chic 16th arrondissement. Walking in, you’ll notice it doesn’t seem very Parisian, and that’s exactly the point. Lordy’s brings a different vibe, serving up hearty dishes with an upscale twist in a setting that’s both cozy and refined—perfect for a chilly evening in the city.
We started dinner with the jumbo shrimp and crispy cheddar. The shrimp was succulent, the cheddar perfectly crisp, highlighting what Lordy’s does best: familiar flavors done exceptionally well. For the main course, we shared La Very British Pie, a comforting dish that was ideal for the cold night. Unlike the meaty pies you might expect, this one was filled with spinach and mushrooms, delivering a hearty mix of earthy flavors wrapped in a flaky crust.
One of the highlights at Lordy’s is the attention to detail, like the Christofle eggs filled with silverware on the tables, adding a touch of elegance to the dining experience. Another highlight is its extensive and very French wine list. Overall, it’s a solid choice when you’re craving elevated British comfort food in Paris.
