When in Milan, we always stop in to Pasticceria Marchesi. Stand at the bar and sip a cappuccino or be seated in the beautiful cafe towards the back for a more leisurely experience. This pasticceria is one of the oldest pastry shops in Milan. It opened in 1824, and has since expanded to three shops, currently owned by Prada.
You’ll find chocolates, cakes, and cornetti filled with jam, pastry cream, or Nutella, and at Easter, magnificent giant chocolate eggs that are intricately decorated. We stopped in during our early morning walk around Milan and it was the perfect place to take in the beauty of spring while sipping a cappuccino at the bar. The bar was full of locals getting their cappuccino, so we think early in the morning is the perfect time to visit!

Fantastic pictures! I’m curious – what camera do you use? I’ll be heading to Milan in a couple days and will definitely stop by here!
Hi Monica, Thank you. We use a Leica M10-P camera. I hope you had a fantastic trip to Milan! xSarah
