If you know us well, you’ll know that we absolutely love beach clubs. Their food is typically really fresh, simple, and delicious. We’ve been to several beach clubs on Capri, including La Fontelina and the Dior Beach Club. However, those have become a bit more Instagrammer-focused and are honestly not really worth your time or money unless your sole objective is to be seen at one of them.
Lo Scoglio delle Sirene Beach Club is a fantastic beach club with views of the Faraglioni located in the Marina Piccola. We’ve been here multiple times, and Nello is always our server. He runs the floor and will point out the current selections for fish of the day. We absolutely love their lobster pasta and highly recommend ordering it for lunch. When you’re not in Capri, you can make it yourself at home and get their lobster pasta recipe in our Beach Club Digital Magazine!
Something else we love about this beach club are the GIANT gin and tonics that you get. It’s mostly a giant glass of gin with a bottle of tonic on the side. You can also order fresh limonata without alcohol, or ask to add some gin.
In addition to the restaurant, you can also reserve a beach chair and towels so that you can stay all day watching the Faraglioni and boats that are docked just off the coast before and after lunch. One issue we noticed on our last visit is that there’s a footpath on the western side of the property that attracts crowds of day trippers taking selfies, so if that would affect your experience, we suggest asking for a table closer to the bar. We felt a bit like zoo animals where we were seated but just dealt with it by ordering another gin and tonic and admiring the Faraglioni.
