If you’re looking for the ultimate luxury dining experience in Forte Dei Marmi, look no further than Lux Lucis Restaurant at the Principe Hotel. With innovative dishes and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and Apennine mountains, it’s no wonder that this restaurant has earned a Michelin star.
The restaurant itself embodies modern elegance, with only 24 seats for an intimate dining experience. The menu offers several set menu options, but we chose the one focused on seafood – and it was exquisite. Every dish is carefully crafted with fresh ingredients and you can taste Chef Valentino Cassanelli’s dedication to his craft in every bite. The raw langoustine and the pasta with bonito were our favorite dishes.
The wine program is another highlight. Maître Sommelier Sokol Ndreko has carefully curated a selection of regional and natural wines, which are perfectly paired with each dish. We especially enjoyed Stefano Legnani’s Ponte di Toi – and even got to meet the winemaker who was sitting at the next table over. He only makes a few bottles, so Lux Lucis is one of the few places in the world you can enjoy his wines.
Lux Lucis at Principale Hotel in Forte Dei Marmi is an experience not to be missed. The stunning design, breathtaking views, and exquisite food make this restaurant a must-visit for any traveler looking for an unforgettable culinary journey in coastal Tuscany. If you’re lucky enough to get a table – don’t hesitate to book it—you won’t regret it.
