Chesa Grischuna’s restaurant is considered the finest restaurant in Klosters. We’d definitely agree; our dinner here and our lunch at Hohwald were the two best dining experiences we had in Klosters. At Chesa Grischuna, guests can choose to dine in the main restaurant, or in the bar downstairs. The same menu is served upstairs and downstairs, and the bar has nightly live music.

We’d describe the cuisine as highly refined – bordering on fine dining but less fussy and completely unpretentious. Rustic ingredients like oxtails are transformed into luxurious creations like the oxtail consommé with ravioli, which was probably the highlight of our meal. The normal menu features European specialties such as Dover sole and turbot, as well as a variety of game dishes and steaks.

What we liked most about the restaurant at Chesa Grischuna is that it manages to be both fancy and fun. The food is excellent, and the wine list exceptional, but the service is laid back and the environment is lively. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of Alpine adventures in Switzerland, laugh with friends and family, and then dance the night away downstairs in the bar.
Don’t miss part one.
