SOMA’s former Les Clos wine bar recently had a makeover into the cutest Parisian-inspired wine bar and “oysterette.” Petit Marlowe is cozy and super cute (designed by Ken Fulk), with walls covered in pink toile and lined with French antiques. They offer seasonal small plates, along with a raw bar and well-curated wine list. We recommend trying the smoked cod with taramasalata served with potatoes for dipping. This is also the perfect place to enjoy escargot with a garlicky butter sauce. If you need a lesson in how to use the escargot tongs, just ask. You don’t want a Pretty Woman moment with the snail flying across the room!

The location is small, so we recommend making a reservation.
