Daroco Bourse brings the vibrance of Italy to Paris, serving up perfectly executed pastas, traditional Italian dishes, and a lively atmosphere in the former boutique of Jean Paul Gaultier. Located in the central 2nd arrondissement, this Italian restaurant feels effortlessly chic yet approachable, making it as much about the experience as it is about the food.

With soaring ceilings, warm lighting, and a lively crowd, Daroco strikes the perfect balance between casual and polished. The menu at Daroco is everything you want from an Italian restaurant: simple, fresh, and focused on flavor. Each dish highlights the best of Italian cooking, from the pastas to heartier main courses.

For us, the pici cacio e pepe stole the show. Perfectly al dente, the thick, hand-rolled pasta was coated in a creamy, peppery sauce that hit all the right notes — both comforting and refined.
For something heartier, the côtelettes d’agneau (lamb chops) were a standout. Tender and flavorful, the lamb was cooked just right and paired with sides that complemented it beautifully.
While we didn’t try the pizzas this time, they looked incredible coming out of the wood-fired oven.

If there’s one dessert you need to try, it’s the pistachio-filled pastry that rounded out our meal. This warm, golden treat was reminiscent of a bomboloni, filled with silky pistachio cream inside. Each bite was just sweet enough, without being too heavy—a perfect finale to an excellent meal.
