The Beach Tree Club, set on the ocean at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, offers casual-chic beachside dining in the best luxury resort in Hawaii. We had so much fun at this open-air restaurant. It’s the perfect place to sip a cocktail and watch the palm trees blow in the wind.
There’s definitely more than meets the eye here. Each cocktail has a story behind it and several have specific persons they are named after. Chef Edward Higgins, previously of Delfina and Bix in San Francisco, recently moved to Hawaii and is hard at work integrating his passion for Italian cooking with his new tropical home. Try the pizza. It’s exceptional.
To give us a taste of what he’s been doing in the Four Seasons kitchen, Chef Higgins made us a custom lunch menu showcasing some of his favorite dishes. It included a gorgeous kanpachi crudo, a roasted beet salad with local macadamias and whipped gorgonzola, an amazing four-cheese pizza, and mouthwatering hanger steaks with salsa verde. The frozen lemon pie was a refreshing end to lunch.
Beach Tree Club was one of our top restaurants on the Island of Hawaii near Kona to visit, and we’d highly recommend visiting for lunch, dinner, or even just cocktails on the beach.
