We love all things Italian, so when we saw a blended cocktail with sorbetto and prosecco in one of our favorite books, we had to give it a try. The cocktail that inspired our version was made with lemon sorbet, but when we found this blood orange sorbet at the market we decided to turn it into a blood orange and prosecco cocktail.

This couldn’t be simpler to make. We had our friend Kelly over recently, so Clayton poured about 3 glasses of chilled prosecco into our blender and added half of the carton of sorbet, and pulsed the blender a few times on low until it was well-combined. We love our blender and use it every day, but for this recipe it’s a little too powerful, so be careful. For something less extreme, we love this, this, and this.
You don’t need fancy prosecco for this cocktail, but definitely serve them in something pretty! We used these glasses from Anthropologie that we love. They would be equally great in these, these (with lemon!), or these.
