Barvale is San Francisco’s newest tapas bar, opening in NoPa on December 7, 2017. Executive Chef Patricio “Pato” Duffoo uses quality products sourced from California to create plates intended for sharing, including paella. If you don’t want a table, you can order pintxos—small bites served on skewers—at the bar, along with cocktails and sherries. The bar program is rooted in cava, sherry, and gin, as well as wines from Spain and Portugal. All sherries will be available by the glass, and a flight program will allow guests to taste multiple sherries side-by-side.
