Do you dream of laying under an umbrella on the Amalfi Coast with an Aperol Spritz in hand? If you're planning a vacation or honeymoon to this iconic Italian summer destination, it’s important to consider the best time to plan your vacation. This is true for any destination, but particularly important for the Amalfi Coast because many hotels and restaurants close for the off-season, and you'll want to consider the water temperature, and who your fellow travelers will be.
The Amalfi Coast season generally runs from April to late October. The busiest months are July and August. The earlier and later months in the season are the least busy and tend to be somewhat less expensive. Room rates may be less than during the peak of the season, but we have noticed it's less of a significant difference.
