We stopped into Finn Town last week to check out their new menu. You may have seen it on Instagram Stories. We sipped on cocktails while Casablanca played in the background.
Chef Steve Dustin has revamped this Castro hot spot’s menu with everything from Grilled English Peas with lemon and salt (you eat them like edamame) to a Fried Green Tomato Grilled Cheese made with their addictive pimento cheese. Also, try the grilled broccolini with pimento cheese and bread crumbs. Chef Dustin was previously the culinary director of operations for Big Night Restaurant Group, which includes the national award winning Leo’s Oyster Bar. If you’ve tried Finn Town’s Thursday Friendsgiving, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to try their revamped version with confit leg stuffing.
Not only has the dinner menu been revamped, but Finn Town is now offering an updated brunch menu. Chef Dustin, along with consulting pastry chef Cheryl Storms (who started Pinkie’s Bakery), has worked to create all in-house bread and pastries. Tables will be set with a European-like bread basket made with house-made breads and pastries. We’re very excited to try the Sticky Bun with banana vanilla crème, macadamia nuts, pecans, and butter caramel, and the Short Rib Hash with sunny side eggs, heirloom carrots, broccolini and grilled country bread. Check out the new menus below and tell us what you’re excited to try!
