Recently reopened after a break for family reasons, this restaurant is one of the hardest reservations to get in Paris. We love the story behind couple Robert and Jessica’s passion project which is now only open for lunch so that they can spend their evenings at home with their two young children.
The menu centers around binchotan (a type of charcoal) and a Japanese grill, and consists solely of a list of ingredients on which your experience will be based after a consultation with Jessica. Two price points are offered - which don’t necessarily bear on the number of courses but rather the quality of ingredients. For example, our pasta came with half a grilled lobster. The neighboring table had no lobster but a similar pasta.
