The sky-high after-market prices paid by collectors are questionable, but what is beyond dispute is that Giacomo Conterno is among the most renowned labels in all of Piemonte.

Founded in 1908, outside the small hill town of Monforte d’Alba, the Conterno family has been crafting age-worthy Barolo for over a century. In fact, the Conterno family played a key role in transforming Barolo from an easy-drinking everyday wine sold in casks into the elegant, age-worthy wines they are today.
