Limon Rotisserie has been recommended to us numerous times (even by friends who are Peruvian), so we finally decided to stop in for lunch to their Mission location. Limon serves some of the best Peruvian cuisine in San Francisco. They offer a variety of cocktails (try their Margarita or Pisco Sour – both were great), ceviches, and of course their famous rotisserie chickens that are slow roasted over an open flame. Choose from a quarter, half, or whole chicken, served with aji sauce. You also get to choose two sides. We especially liked the Tacu Tacu (sautéed rice and refried beans). They also serve a variety of other Peruvian classics, as well as signature dishes like truffle mac and cheese. There’s something for everyone!
Limon Rotisserie has several locations around the San Francisco area. They recently opened a new location in Walnut Creek and they are planning to open a location in the SFO airport soon!
