Our favorite place for a martini in the Amalfi Coast is the Lobster & Martini bar at Palazzo Avino. Several years ago, the head barman (now Maitre) Stefano Amato made us the best dessert cocktail for our anniversary, a pear and ricotta martini, so we made our way back to find out exactly how to make it. We're sharing it with you below.

This is a rich, creamy  served in a martini glasses. These martini glasses are some of our favorites. They are elegant and very delicate. If you're looking for a basic, durable  glasses for entertaining, try these.

Garnish your martini with either a slice of pear on the side or crumble Italian butter cookies on top. Either way, you'll have an amazing cocktail. For the ricotta cream, make sure you use a good, rich ricotta. Hand dipped or fresh is our preference. It will whip better into the cream and taste even more delicious!
