Looking for a nostalgic grape stomping experience like “I Love Lucy” during your visit to Napa Valley this fall? Grape stomping is a great way to celebrate the harvest season and experience what foot treading grapes is like (there are wineries that still foot tread grapes, like one of our favorite Sonoma producers).
There is only one Napa Valley winery that offers grape stomping every day throughout the harvest season. You’ll be able to jump in a barrel of fresh grapes and get grape stomping! You can grape stomp with a glass of Chardonnay, Rose, or Zinfandel in hand, and leave your purple footprints on a white t-shirt to remember your experience. The winery also includes a wine tasting of three wines and a bottle of wine to take home. Get all the details about grape stomp reservations, price, etc. by downloading our grape stomping guide below.
Where do the stomping grapes come from? We’ve always wondered, so we asked. The stomping grapes are real estate-grown grapes that aren’t yet ready to make their debut in your bottle of Cabernet.

I have a medium size group of ladies (10 – 15) that will be in Napa in August of this year. Would love to set up the day for all of us to do grape stomping. Sounds like a blast. If at all possible could my group have an exclusive day to ourselves. Willing to pay the cost! Thank you. I will confirm the numbers when I hear back from you. Hoping that it is possible
We will be there between August 16 and 19. Can we come stomp grapes? Pretty please
Hi Kathleen, You’d have to contact the winery directly, but I don’t’ believe grape stomping will be going on at that time. xSarah
Would like to schedule 4 Adults to the stomping festivities, we will be n the area October 14-16th, 2019.
When does grape stomping start? I would love to do this and will get a group together. I need to know when and the price as everyone will want to know. I don’t see a “guide” per se. I am thinking about 2021. thank you.
Hi Emily,
Our guide with tips and information is downloadable on our website. However, with the current situation we don’t know what the plans will be for 2021. I’d recommend checking with the winery directly for those details.
Sarah
