For one of the best new restaurants in Burgundy, head to a charming town just a few minutes from Meursault. In this sleepy little village, you’d only know to go here if you’re in the know. Across from the church, you’ll find a small restaurant with an interesting wine list, hearty flavors, and home cooking.

Chef Fabienne Parra utilizes fresh ingredients in this new restaurant that opened in 2022. A gorgeous dining room is outfitted in warm wood. Two sides of the room are lined with hand-selected, hard-to-find bottles inside a gorgeous built-in wine cellar. The menu is written on a chalkboard and includes a list of shareable dishes, a formula menu, and a la carte selections.

We started with the Croque truffle, one of the best things we’ve eaten. It’s similar to a Croque madame sandwich, cut into shareable bites and filled with Emmentaler cheese and truffles. The tomato dish with gazpacho was spicy and fresh using beef heart tomatoes.

We also ordered the chicken with tarragon, the pork tenderloin served with whipped parsnips, and the pigeon with roasted potatoes.
Go here if you want good food, wine, and a need break from the tourists of Beaune.
