Are you having a party or a wine tasting? Make gougères! We love Maria Sinskey’s version. If you only want to make a few, you can freeze the frozen pre-cooked gougères and pull them out any time for an easy appetizer. They are delicious with any wine, especially pinot noir!
We were asked to make an appetizer for a brunch, so we grabbed one of our wine boxes, lined it with white cloth napkins, and voilà it became a perfect serving piece! You can choose the type of cheese and herbs that you add. These were solely based on thyme.
