Negroni Sbagliatos by the Sea

by TheTasteEdit

The Taste Edit recommends that you visit this Italian Beach town that no one knows about - Camogli, Italy. Try a Negroni or a sbagliato Negroni

You probably saw our visit to Camogli earlier this year. The chic local beach town in the Italian Riviera should definitely be on your radar for your next trip. It’s just a short drive from Genova or Portofino, and it’s one of our favorite destinations in Northern Italy for a seaside escape. While we sat by the water talking and taking in the sunset, we sipped on Aperol sprtizes and negroni sbagliato cocktails as we watched the boats sway in the harbor. A spritz always reminds us of summer in Italy, but now Negroni sbagliato does too!

It’s a lighter, bubbly version of a negroni. Just a little “mistake” that makes for a delicious Italian cocktail. If you haven’t tried one, this is a cocktail you should be ordering from restaurants and bars and making at home. If you’re making a negroni sbagliato at home, we suggest using Carpo Antica vermouth. We also prefer to use it in our negronis and manhattans.
